Richard has made a career as a premiere performance capture actor, stuntman, movement consultant and producer for the last 18 years.
Specializing in motion capture in video games, movies & VR and with over 100 motion capture projects including Dispatch (Sundance film Festival), Alien Descent VR Experience, Left 4 Dead 1 & 2, Silent Hill: Homecoming, Evolve, X-Com 2, Tom Clancy’s The Division, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2, The Uncharted:Video Game Series, God of War series, Ghostbusters, Bourne Conspiracy, Richard has brought to life a universe of characters recognized in today’s gaming and pop culture.
He has played a variety of characters ranging from Shaggy, Darth Vader, Wolverine, Conan and Peter Venkman to, Zombies, Monsters and U.S. Navy Seals.
As well as performing, he has been brought on productions to help create and teach movements for characters, consult on the performance capture process from the actor’s point of view, stunt coordinate and create action as well as develop demo’s and projects for companies. He also specializes in casting actors and stunt people for performance capture.
Richard has started teaching for The Mocap Vaults and brings years of experience and understanding to know what it takes to be ready to step into the mocap volume. From basics to advanced combat and specialty movement, no one has as many hours in the mocap suit than him.
